The Houston Rockets hosted their annual gala on Friday, March 7 at the Fertitta Family Residence in River Oaks raising a record-breaking $2 million dollars. This prestigious event gathered players, coaches, and Rockets legends for an unforgettable evening in support of the team’s Clutch City Foundation.
“Each year, the Rockets Gala provides a wonderful opportunity to bring people together in support of the Houston community,” said Rockets owner Tilman J. Fertitta. “Each year, I’m excited to host this special evening alongside our guests, players, and coaches to raise funds for the impactful work of the Clutch City Foundation.”
The gala tipped off with an exclusive VIP Reception before transitioning to the main event featuring live entertainment, interactions with the 2024-25 Rockets players and coaches, and opportunities to support the team’s Clutch City Foundation through exciting auction items and unique experiences. Continuing the tradition of previous years, the team once again featured the popular ‘Sequins and Sneakers’ themed attire.
Established in 1995, the Rockets Clutch City Foundation’s is dedicated to transforming lives through the power of basketball with the aim of making Houston a better place to live for all Houstonians, especially the underserved. The annual gala plays a vital role in raising funds and awareness to support those in need throughout the Houston community.
