Landry’s Dos Caminos, one of New York City’s most beloved Mexican restaurants, will expand to North Carolina. The popular eatery is set to open its sixth location on March 19, 2024, at 601 South Tryon Street, in the heart of Charlotte. This marks Dos Caminos’ first location outside of Manhattan and Atlantic City.
“We are thrilled to open Dos Caminos in Charlotte, featuring upscale Mexican fare and award-winning margaritas. We look forward to bringing the authenticity, fresh ingredients, and lively atmosphere of Dos Caminos to a new state,” said Scott Marshall, Sr. Vice President & COO at Dos Caminos.
The new location will offer an expansive dining area with 240 available seats between the patio, dining room, and private rooms. The restaurant’s beautifully decorated interior features a stunning mural inspired by the vibrant spirit of Mexico City and boasts floor-to-ceiling windows. Lively music will stream throughout, with the interior dining space opening seamlessly onto the outside patio. Dos Caminos’ two private rooms, “Sol” and “Luna,” can be booked for a more intimate experience or combined to accommodate a reception of up to 40 guests.
Menu favorites, including Queso Fundido, Sizzling Fajitas, Shrimp Enchiladas Suizas, Mole Short Ribs, and Birria Tacos, will make an appearance on the Charlotte menu. The beverage menu features an array of Dos Caminos’ award-winning margaritas as well as a new specialty margarita, dubbed the “Queen City” Margarita, that will be exclusive to the Charlotte location. Additionally, Charlotte Dos Caminos will be the first location to offer a lunch menu. Lunch guests can expect to enjoy delicious items such as the Skillet Burrito, Pollo Ranchero, Ixtapa Burger, Sopa de Tortilla, and lunch salads. The new location will have weekly happy hour food specials Monday through Friday 3 to 6pm and 9pm until close.
