Mastro's Steakhouse - San Francisco

Mastro's Steakhouse opens in San Francisco, CA

Mastro’s Restaurants, a collection of sophisticated, classic Steakhouses and Ocean Clubs across the nation, opened its first Mastro’s Steakhouse in Northern California on Friday, December 20, in San Francisco’s Union Square. Featuring mouthwatering USDA Prime steaks and certified Kobe beef, an enticing selection of appetizers, family-style side dishes, decadent desserts and carefully curated wine and spirits, Mastro’s Steakhouse San Francisco spans more than three floors, complete with its signature M Bar, a rooftop bar and private event spaces.

Exclusive to the menu at Mastro’s Steakhouse San Francisco is a true A5 Kobe beef, Hyogo Prefecture entrée. The beef for this entree is sourced from 100% Tajima cattle, the most exclusive beef in the world. This Kobe beef entrée is served broiled with sea salt and black pepper and cooked to the guest’s desired temperature. Mastro’s Steakhouse San Francisco is one of a select few restaurants in the city certified by the Kobe Beef Association based in Japan.

Mastro’s Steakhouse San Francisco is located on the corner of Geary and Mason Streets. Guests enter at street level and make their way to the second floor where the main dining room is configured with white linen- covered tables and spacious booth-style seating. Expansive windows, soaring ceilings, and up-lighting provide a sense of grandeur. Adjacent to the main dining room is the M Bar, where guests can enjoy a hand-crafted cocktail or a glass of wine while listening to live music. The third-floor houses two private dining rooms for hosting special events and a rooftop bar complete with banquette seating, outdoor heaters and ambient lighting, creating a subtle, intimate mood for guests to immerse themselves in the sights and sounds of Union Square.
